Senior Indirect Procurement Manager, Key Responsibilities:
In this role, the Senior Indirect Procurement Manager will be responsible for:
- Category Management: Leading procurement activities across key indirect categories, including MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations), medical equipment, and healthcare-related services.
- Strategic Sourcing: Developing and executing sourcing strategies that align with the organisation's objectives while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Supplier Relations: Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Leading a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and direction, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver optimal procurement solutions.
- Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement process to drive efficiency and cost savings.
Senior Indirect Procurement Manager, Required Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
- Indirect Procurement Management Experience: Extensive experience managing indirect procurement, with a focus on categories such as MRO, medical equipment, and healthcare-related services.
- Industry Exposure: Previous exposure to healthcare or similarly regulated industries would be highly beneficial.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and develop teams, providing strategic direction and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a focus on identifying cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality standards.
- Industry Certifications: Relevant qualifications such as CIPS or MCIPS are highly desirable.
- Eligibility to Work in the UK: Candidates must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
